Ja’ Cideah is from Belleville, IL, and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Black Studies at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she held many leadership roles, one being the Vice President of the Epsilon Xi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She is a first year Master of Social Work student at Washington University in St. Louis and is passionate about health and economic disparities surrounding Black and POC communities.
